Shopping and Barding in Miami

In particular, South Florida and Miami are magnets that attract shoppers from Latin America and the Caribbean Sea. There are shopping districts everywhere in the city, and it seems that shopping districts have diversity. There are strip malls, regular malls, outlet malls. Shopping in Miami is throughout the year but seems to reach the heat pitch on the third Friday of November which is the day just after the American Thanksgiving holiday. What is known as Black Friday is because the huge group of shoppers is expected to make the retailer a surplus (profit). Black Friday is a significant discount day, which means the beginning of the Christmas shopping season. Some shopping malls start shopping at midnight and others start shopping at 5 AM. As soon as the store opens the hordes descend.

South Florida is also a magnet for migratory birds and new tropical ward birds. Located along the Atlantic Flyway, Florida is on the path of a bird moving from the summer breeding ground in the northern and central part of the USA to winter breeding ground in the middle or South America and the Caribbean. For some species Florida is their winter home. Florida is particularly suitable for waterfowl, as it has plenty of ponds, lakes and waterways.

This dual magnetic force means that during Thanksgiving you can combine the two passions. Shopping and bird watching. Or my husband can take my wife to the shopping mall, and while my wife is shopping, he can enjoy bird watching. The Dolphin Mall at the northwest 12th Street of Florida Turnpike is a nice place. The mall has a huge selection of shops with diverse items. There are two ponds along the 12th chome next to the mall parking lot in the mall. Among the birds that can be seen in those ponds are Anhingas, Coots, Heron and Snowy Egrets.

In other shopping malls, the desire to incorporate green into the asphalt and concrete jungle creates trees around parking lots and parking lots. These trees are collecting various bird species in turn. Just walk around the parking lot, you can see various kinds of birds.

Even if you do not go near the Black Friday shopping mall, it is easy to enjoy bird watching in South Florida. There are many lakes and ponds in the residential area, and it attracts birds, especially waterbirds. Among the most common florida waterbirds are double-crested cormorants, Pied-billed Grebe, Common Moore, Green (Greenback) Heron and the most common waterbird found in the suburbs of Florida, the Muscovy duck. Highway and coastal waterways along the road and other canals are also places suitable for discovering bird life and it is easy to stop in an attractive place. For more avid bird watchers, South Florida has numerous state parks and national parks.
